Job Summary
Primary Care / Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide primary care in a facility-based, in-person setting in the Clear Lake/Southeast Houston area. The role focuses on general medicine for adolescent and adult patients, with responsibilities including comprehensive and episodic assessments, evaluating and treating acute and chronic conditions, managing day-to-day primary care needs, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications per Texas/federal regulations, collaborating with physicians and facility staff, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate documentation in the EHR. New graduates are welcome. Location: Sugar Land, TX. Involves collaboration with physicians and nursing staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher
- Active Texas APRN / Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred; other NP certifications considered
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
