Job Summary
Provide safe, timely, effective, and patient-centered care under the direction of the primary care operations team. Partner with patients, providers, and the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes while adhering to Mercy Service Standards. Perform duties consistent with the scope of practice for an LPN, including lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing or walking. Requires a license in Missouri, 6 months of clinical experience, and strong communication skills. Work in a collaborative environment where your voice matters as part of a team shaping the future of healthcare through innovation and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Licensed as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the state of practice
- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
- Works well as a member of a team and willing to collaborate with all members of the care team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and positive attitude
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-directed and able to perform tasks that are in scope of practice independently with minimal oversight
