Job Summary
Provide safe, timely, effective, patient-centered care under the direction of the primary care operations team. Partner with patients, providers, and the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes while adhering to Mercy Service Standards. Perform duties requiring the ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly, with prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting. Work full-time days at Mercy Hospital Southeast- Primary Care Clinic in Cape Girardeau, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Licensed as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the state of practice
- 6 months clinical healthcare experience
- Primary care office experience
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Works well as a member of a team and willing to collaborate with all members of the care team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and positive attitude
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-directed and able to perform tasks that are in scope of practice independently with minimal oversight
