Job Summary
Provide safe, timely, effective, and patient-centered care under the direction of the primary care operations team. Partner directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers, patients, and the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards while working well as a team member with excellent communication and organizational skills. Requires lifting 50 pounds regularly, prolonged standing, and walking each shift. Located at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Licensed as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the state of practice
- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
- Works well as a member of a team and willing to collaborate with all members of the care team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and positive attitude
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-directed and able to perform tasks that are in scope of practice independently with minimal oversight
