Job Summary
NP will practice to the full extent of licensure under the division chief and in collaboration with the service line director. Works with the practice team to provide pediatric primary care from birth to 21 years, including well care, developmental surveillance, vaccines counseling, mental health screening, evaluation and management of acute and chronic conditions, and long-term relationships with families. Requires contribution to on-call coverage with evening, weekend, and after-hours responsibilities, engagement in professional development, quality improvement, and primary care-based research initiatives. Serves as a voice for patient/family needs within the health system; Dayton Children's emphasizes safety, compassion, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Ohio
- Eligibility to practice as an NP in pediatric primary care
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
- Commitment to well-child care and vaccines
- Experience with pediatric patients birth to 21 preferred
