Job Summary
Elementary Teacher for 4th grade at Open Sky Education in Wisconsin. Responsibilities include developing and implementing daily instruction plans, employing varied and research-based instructional strategies to engage scholars, conducting interim assessments and data analysis to diagnose learning gaps, participating in faculty and professional development activities, leading or supporting after-hours school activities, aiding in scholar recruitment, and serving as a biblical role model and representative of Open Sky Education while complying with the Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith. The role requires collaboration with scholars, parents, and school administration to promote academic success and character development, with expectations to live in alignment with faith-life collaboration and to perform other duties as required. Competencies include serving leadership, collaborative relationships, data-informed instruction, and a focus on academic excellence, goal setting, and student progress.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Valid Wisconsin teaching credential or willingness to attain one
- Minimum of 12 educational teaching credits required after 3 years
- 1-3 years teaching experience, urban experience a plus
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills
- Experience with school teaching platforms and technology for virtual learning
- Proven track record of student achievement results
