Job Summary
Primary Clinician/Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator split role focusing on individual and family engagement for youth experiencing early psychosis; provides therapy, psychoeducation, and outreach to educate about OnTrack’s services, interfaces with referral sources, conducts screenings and evaluations, and participates in a multidisciplinary team to determine eligibility and connect participants to services. Responsibilities include delivering therapy, social skills training, recovery coaching, substance use treatment, behavioral activation, psychoeducation, leading youth- and family-focused groups on first episode psychosis, conducting clinical assessments, safety planning, SDM-based treatment planning, documenting via strength-based care, attending weekly team meetings, and rotating after-hours emergency call responsibilities; community-based service delivery and ensuring stable post-discharge links. Knowledge/skills include mental health assessment, crisis management, peer support, data/documentation, collaboration with schools and inpatient units, effective communication, and ability to work with adolescents/young adults in high-risk settings.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in social work, psychology, mental health counseling
- NYS License Required, L.C.S.W., L.M.S.W., L.M.H.C.
