Pricing Technology QA - Manager-Bangalore

Job Summary
Review user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional designs to define the overall testing approach for pricing technology solutions. Lead requirement refinement, sprint planning, and test planning while guiding the QA team in translating business requirements into structured test scenarios covering positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios. Oversee functional testing to validate Pricefx development and configuration across pricing logic, workflows, validations, and UI behavior, ensuring adequate coverage of agreements, approvals, and rebate calculations. Manage defect governance including triage, prioritization, and root cause analysis while coordinating SIT, UAT, regression, and release validation cycles. Own defect quality, tracking open defects, and ensuring QA deliverables meet required standards. Maintain test plans, execution summaries, and release readiness reports to support project leadership and client stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA, functional testing, business testing, application testing, or test management
- Experience leading QA workstreams for enterprise applications, pricing systems, CPQ, ERP, CRM, or commercial platforms
- Strong understanding of test planning, test case design, execution tracking, defect lifecycle, regression testing, SIT, and UAT
- Good understanding of pricing concepts such as price lists, discounts, approvals, agreements, rebates, hierarchies, and governance controls
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar test management platforms
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, status reporting, and issue escalation skills
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 9 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred
- Prior experience with Pricefx or other pricing / revenue management platforms
- Experience testing pricing configuration, workflows, rebate calculations, dashboards, or data source tables
- Exposure to SQL, data validation, reconciliation testing, or integration testing
- Experience managing UAT, release validation, or hypercare testing with business and client stakeholders
- Exposure to test automation with tools such as Selenium and Playwright, AI-assisted testing, or tools for test case generation and defect analysis
- Ability to manage distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Strong QA leadership mindset with attention to detail and focus on business outcomes
- Ability to define testing strategy and ensure complete validation of intended functionality
- Structured planning, disciplined execution, and strong release readiness management
- Strong defect governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills
- Collaboration across functional, development, data/integration, QA, client, and release teams
- Engaging stakeholders through effective communication and relationship building
