Job Summary
Analyze prospective clients' existing merchant processing statements to assess current costs, effective rates, and interchange utilization, identifying pricing inefficiencies and program misalignments. Produce clear, data-driven summaries that quantify potential savings and support the sales conversation while evaluating business profiles to determine optimal Payliance program fits. Partner with sellers to build customized, accurate pricing proposals tailored to each prospect, developing compelling narratives that articulate value and rationale. Maintain pricing templates, tools, and calculators reflecting current rates, coordinate internal approvals for non-standard pricing, and respond promptly to ad hoc requests. Support sellers during client-facing conversations as a subject-matter expert on pricing and program structure, preparing final proposals for delivery and tracking outcomes to refine strategies.

- Identify pricing inefficiencies, opportunities, and program misalignments that Payliance can address
- Produce clear, data-driven summaries that quantify potential savings and support the sales conversation
- Evaluate client business profiles, transaction volumes, and industry segments to determine the optimal Payliance program fit
- Stay current on Payliance's full product and program portfolio to match client needs with the most appropriate and profitable solutions
- Consult with sales leadership and product teams to validate recommendations for complex or high-volume accounts
- Partner with sellers to build customized, accurate pricing proposals tailored to each prospect
- Develop compelling proposal narratives that clearly articulate value, savings, and the rationale behind program recommendations
- Maintain pricing templates, tools, and calculators, ensuring they reflect current rates, fee structures, and competitive positioning
- Coordinate internal approvals for non-standard or exception pricing as needed
- Support sellers during client-facing conversations, presentations, and proposal delivery as a subject-matter expert on pricing and program structure
- Prepare and format final proposals for client delivery, ensuring accuracy, professional presentation, and compliance with Payliance standards
- Respond promptly to ad hoc pricing requests, revisions, and competitive re-quotes from the sales team
- Track proposal outcomes and conversion data to refine pricing strategies and identify trends
- Partner with Operations and Finance to ensure proposed pricing is feasible and aligned with margin requirements
- Provide feedback to product and leadership teams on competitive pricing intelligence gathered during the sales process
- Assist in onboarding new sales team members on pricing tools, methodologies, and Payliance program structures
- Remote-first with collaboration across U.S. time zones
- Occasional travel may be required for team on-sites, sales meetings, or company events
