Pricing Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct daily price verifications using a handheld scanner to ensure accurate item pricing and maintain shelf tag integrity. Enter and update pricing corrections in the computer system while investigating "not-on-file" items and running reports to prevent shrink. Tear, sort, and hang price tags, ensuring displays comply with WIC regulations and ad changes. Provide customer service by greeting shoppers, answering product questions, and assisting with price lookups. Maintain scanning equipment and adhere to safety procedures in the retail environment. Requires basic knowledge of FIM and SAP reporting, with flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- High school Diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of FIM (Fresh Item Management)
- Basic knowledge of SAP reporting applications
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes
- Ability to perform basic Microsoft Office functions
- Ability to effectively communicate (in written and verbal form) with customers and partners
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible
- Ability to report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor
- Must be able to lift objects up to 40 lbs
