Job Summary
Responsible for pricing and quoting Sales Team inquiries, overseas offices, and customers while improving pricing capacity for the Malaysia ocean freight market. Search, call, and build new relationships with potential suppliers, including carriers, NVOCCs, and freight forwarders, then arrange and attend supplier meetings and events. Coordinate closely with Sales and Operation Teams to prepare weekly reports on pricing activities and regularly follow Malaysia ocean freight market trends to take action accordingly. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in English
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics field required
- Experienced in working with Shipping lines and other suppliers
- Experienced in Ocean Freight market in Malaysia
- Having a good sense of market prices & potential customers
- Taking responsibility for the position with positive and friendly attitude
