Job Summary
Pricing & Sales Support Specialist coordinates the sales cycle and project execution, bridging account executives, planners, vendors, customers, and internal teams. Responsibilities include independently preparing, evaluating, and reviewing all-inclusive pricing (materials, freight, delivery, installation), collecting and validating documentation to confirm alignment with project requirements, identifying missing or unclear pricing or product information, requesting pricing/technical information from vendors, developing formal proposal and quote packages, applying pricing structures and contract terms, prioritizing quotes and revisions to meet customer and account executive requirements, supporting pre-sale documentation for general contractor opportunities, reviewing project specifications for consistency with quoted materials, monitoring lead times, maintaining accurate records in CRM/quoting/project management systems, adhering to workflows and documentation standards, and performing related duties. Skills emphasized include strong communication, organizational abilities, excellent listening, multitasking, monetary calculations, MS Excel, remote-work capability, and the ability to interpret safety and operating documents; education/experience specifies an Associate degree or equivalent. Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong work ethic including ability to work unsupervised
- Organized and professional
- Excellent listening skills
- Excellent communication skills, including willingness to communicate directly with customers and staff
- Mathematics background with monetary calculations (markup, profit margin, cost, etc.)
- Strong MS Office skills (particularly Excel)
- Ability to work remotely as required
- Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Mathematical skills to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; apply basic algebra and geometry
- Reasoning skills to solve practical problems
