Job Summary
Pricing Manager role focused on designing and maintaining US-focused pricing frameworks and methodologies for CFC’s portfolio, including setting technical prices, supporting admitted rate filings, portfolio optimization, and actuarial validation. Collaborate with underwriting, pricing operations, and IT to ensure pricing tools are aligned with rate filings and regulatory requirements; provide actuarial support for market conduct reviews and audits; stay current with US regulatory developments; contribute to KPI development and profitability analysis; coach junior team members on pricing theory and best practice.
Required Qualifications
- Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS)
- Experience in admitted and E&S pricing
- Strong knowledge of US insurance regulation and actuarial standards of practice
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL; Python/R desirable
- Experience collaborating with underwriters and stakeholders
- Analytical and data-modelling skills
- Experience with pricing tools, rate filings, and portfolio analysis
- Coaching/junior team mentorship
