Pricing & Index Specialist Sales – Vice President

Job Summary
Lead client acquisition and relationship management for institutional sales of Evaluated Pricing and Fixed-Income Indices. Responsibilities include prospecting and networking to generate new business pipelines, providing high-touch coverage for large institutional clients, collaborating with product partners and research teams, pitching offerings to Pricing and Index product partners, conducting client workshops, researching the client base to identify decision-makers, and supporting go-to-market strategies. Requires knowledge of buy-side and third-party vendors, licensing, and Salesforce proficiency; travel as required to meet performance metrics and quota; track industry trends and perform competitor analysis; develop product feedback to influence roadmaps.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience of buy-side and 3rd party vendors
- Established sales relationships in the data business (preferably index or valuation)
- Knowledge of intellectual property licensing
- Willingness to travel and to travel as required to meet performance metrics and quota
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Strong ability to cultivate client relationships with influencing and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to close deals
- Strong intellectual curiosity, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to perform well under pressure with urgency
