Job Summary
Conduct price changes, ad display updates, and tag hanging to ensure accurate pricing of all store products. Manage pricing department operations by verifying item prices and executing promotional signage within the store. Maintain department standards by cleaning work areas, organizing shelving, and picking up debris as needed. Communicate with store directors and vendor partners to deliver consistent pricing policies. Provide exceptional guest services by assisting shoppers with locating items on the sales floor. Perform duties under a part-time schedule including daytime shifts and occasional evenings or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle situations
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Lifting up to 10 pounds on an occasional basis
- Frequently bending at waist level, kneeling and reaching above shoulder level
- Continuous repetitive hand movement, grasping and fine manipulation
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
