Job Summary
Pricing & Contracts Manager responsible for developing, implementing, and administering pricing strategies and contract management for generic pharmaceutical products. Own pricing strategy and contract execution across formulations, collaborate with sales and supply chain, ensure compliant pricing and accurate government pricing calculations, manage RFP processes, draft and negotiate contracts, monitor chargebacks and rebates, and provide pricing guidance to internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in pricing and contract management in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of the US pharmaceutical market
- Proficiency in data analysis, pricing methodologies, and contract negotiation
- Experience with SAP and Vistex systems is highly preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive and work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, follow through, and ensure timely completion of critical activities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful contract negotiations
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
- Complete understanding of the generic pharmaceutical sales lifecycle, including RFP processes, contract negotiations, order-to-cash, and chargeback/rebate management
