Job Summary
Develop pricing strategies and recommendations for transportation and logistics opportunities by analyzing costs, margins, market conditions, and operational requirements. Prepare pricing proposals for commercial accounts, specialty logistics projects, and contract opportunities while reviewing contracts to support renewals and new business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with operational capabilities and present analyses to stakeholders. Identify trends through data analysis to improve pricing effectiveness and maintain reports, models, and tools for continuous process improvement. This role supports UniGroup's nationwide network of agents and van operators delivering household goods and specialty logistics across the United States and internationally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two to three years of relevant analytical, financial, pricing, logistics, or transportation experience
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
Desired Qualifications
- Strong analytical and financial skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, QlikSense, or similar reporting platforms
- Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into actionable business recommendations
- Understanding of pricing strategy, cost analysis, and financial modeling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information to a variety of audiences
- Experience within transportation, logistics, supply chain, or a related industry
