Pricing Analyst - Key Accounts

Job Summary
Negotiate pricing with carriers and the procurement team by shadowing the Commercial Supervisor/Manager. Manage internal price quotes, send them to customers, and perform cost analysis while maintaining backup data for operations handover. Read and price ocean, air, and trucking rates across multiple commodities and modes, ensuring rate filing requirements are met. Develop relationships with vendors and key clients, communicate pricing issues internally and externally to control costs, and follow up on outstanding quotes to provide competitive feedback. Attend vendor and client meetings to contribute meaningful data and manage action points.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent working knowledge of ocean freight, airfreight, and trucking pricing terminology
- Experience in negotiating rates agreements/contracts
- Working knowledge of freight consolidation and container loading
- Working knowledge of unique supply chain needs for moving freight and 3PL/4PL services
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or equal level by experience
- MS Office and other IT skills: basic MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
- Must be able to sit for prolonged period in office environment, desk setting
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
