Job Summary
Analytical role within the Pricing & Packaging team driving hipages’ transition to value-based pricing. Design and maintain quantitative models to evaluate revenue and margin impact for packaging changes and price adjustments; own the framework for pricing evolution, focusing on willingness-to-pay analysis and cohort-level price elasticity. Model scenario economics for entry-level packages, rookie conversions, and ascension funnel performance to guide market decisions; identify growth levers by partnering with Product and Sales, monitor live pricing initiatives and enable self-serve funnels; deliver executive insights and serve as the central quantitative expert bridging Product, Sales, Marketing, Data Analytics, and FP&A. Build reusable pricing tools and dashboards using BI tools; leverage AI to accelerate SQL data extraction and econometric modelling, ensuring technical accuracy and data integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in a commercial, strategy or analytics role; pricing experience in a marketplace, SaaS or subscription business is highly advantageous.
- Strong financial modelling skills with the ability to build robust, flexible models from scratch and clearly communicate assumptions and outputs.
- Experience leveraging AI to accelerate SQL data extraction and Python/R econometric modelling, ensuring technical accuracy and data integrity.
