Job Summary
Sort donations into salable, salvage, and trash categories while ensuring all goods flow to the sales floor within 24 hours. Price merchandise using the baseline price guide and special price items, adhering to brand knowledge and competitive trends. Maintain processing areas and equipment in clean, operable conditions, perform mark-downs per policy, and review safety recall bulletins to prevent unsafe sales. Move wares totes to and off the sales floor safely, lifting up to 60 pounds regularly. Work under general supervision with a positive attitude, maintaining neat grooming and teamwork. Attend in-service training as assigned and be willing to work evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand, bend and reach
- Able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to forty (60) pounds with no support regularly
- Able to perform basic math skills
- Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude and a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects as required by job
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
- Regular attendance at the job
- Ability to work under general supervision
- Ability to develop, provide and maintain effective working relationships with team leader, team members, customers, and clients
- Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends
- A high school diploma or GED
