Job Summary
Foster deep understanding of fundamentals, supply chains, and key market participants across metals recycling sectors. Collect pricing data, set price assessments per company methodology and IOSCO principles, and write market commentaries, breaking news, and insightful copy. Back colleagues on pricing patches to ensure consistency, peer review prices to verify process adherence and editorial judgment, and manage industry contacts for data submissions and exclusives. Handle market inquiries about pricing sessions, support team engagement plans, and present at events or chair panel discussions. Requires high-level English, financial market knowledge, and ability to work with numbers and spreadsheets. Based in Illinois, Oregon, New York, Pennsylvania, or Texas (hybrid), with business travel by plane, train, or car.
