Job Summary
Conduct daily price assessments for metals recycling markets, collecting data from industry contacts and verifying editorial judgment through peer reviews. Write market commentaries, breaking news, and analytical copy while managing industry relationships to secure pricing data and exclusives. Back colleagues on pricing patches to ensure consistency and chair panel discussions at events and webinars. Handle market inquiries regarding pricing sessions and guide contacts on sensitive dynamics. Requires high-level English and Mandarin, financial market knowledge, and ability to work with numbers and spreadsheets. Full business travel by plane, train, or car is required.
Required Qualifications
- A high level of written and spoken English
- Mandarin language
