Job Summary
Produce price assessments and news coverage on agriculture and fertilizer markets, engaging regularly with market participants across the supply chain. Publish robust commentaries adhering to established methodologies while tracking major global events influencing your markets. Identify and execute price assessment opportunities to drive growth in the Asian agriculture and fertilizer sector, with opportunities to travel internationally for industry events. Assist in developing relevant news insights to support market development both within and outside the space.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years' reporting/writing/analytical/editorial experience
- Strong numeracy skills, including the ability to understand the basic principles of statistics and to apply basic math functions in Excel
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of role types and personalities, internally and externally
- Excellent English communication skills
- Awareness of global commodity markets and economic principles
- Self-starter mindset with effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform well under tight deadlines
- Culturally and socially sensitive
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge of the agriculture and fertilizer trading sector
- Fluency in relevant international languages (such as Mandarin or other Asian languages)
