Job Summary
Assist teachers with instructional, clerical, student management, and daily life activities for special education students in special education or general classrooms. Work hours align with the school year, typically between 7:15am and 3:30pm; responsibilities include supporting instructional activities, supervising students in community settings, and maintaining effective communication with students, staff, and parents. Strong tutorial, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required, with emphasis on child guidance principles and basic instructional techniques. Preference given to candidates who have two years of college, an associate degree, Para-Pro credentials, or related school experience.
