Job Summary
Oversee and supervise Pre-weigh activities for beauty care manufacturing, including monitoring the batching schedule, printing and reviewing work orders, and transferring them to the Compounding Department. Maintain the Pre-weigh area, ensure safety and proper chemical storage, operate scales, and train pullers on pre-weigh procedures and batch-reading techniques. Ensure SDS comprehension, RF scanner procedures, and accurate entry/closure of storage containers. Support lab and batching departments as directed, assist with proper handling of chemicals, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the work area. Requires strong math and chemistry aptitude, excellent communication, and 1-2 years of supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing; on-site attendance is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in the science field
- 1-2 years of supervisory or lead experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills
- Strong Math and Chemistry aptitude
- Ability to read, write, and speak English competently
- Ability to work on-site
- Ability to maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
