Job Summary
Preventive Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and servicing U-Haul trucks and trailers. Primary duties include securing trucks on lifts, lubricating suspensions, performing oil changes, replacing minor parts, tire and brake maintenance, occasional road-testing vehicles, and using a proprietary pre-inspection checklist. Works as part of a team and may contribute in additional areas as directed by supervisor. Training opportunities through Ford, GMC, and U-Haul programs; tools provided; comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities are available.
Required Qualifications
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- repair experience preferred
- Driver’s license
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually
- Regular attendance
- Physical ability to lift minimum 50 lbs
- Safety gear and PPE usage
