Job Summary
Preventive Maintenance Technician tests, certifies, and maintains controlled environments to ensure they meet stringent standards regarding contamination control. Responsibilities include onsite certification of cleanrooms and equipment, maintaining and running tools onsite, creating certification reports and documenting troubleshooting efforts to meet regulatory requirements, and possessing a strong technical aptitude with a willingness to learn about complex instrumentation; must be able to work holidays and shifts (day or night) as specified. Proficiency in documenting records, basic math, PPE usage, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1+ years of experience
- Have or willingness to obtain NEBB certification
- Mechanical ability
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to wear proper PPE for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills including geometry and algebra
- The ability to work in a self-directed environment
