Job Summary
Preventive Maintenance (PM) Planner at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN, responsible for strategic planning and coordination of preventive and condition-based maintenance. Develops detailed work packages, identifies parts/tools/equipment, conducts field walk-downs to reflect field conditions, and ensures all necessary safety permits (LOTO, JHA) are identified and integrated into work packages. Maintains accurate CMMS records, collaborates with the Reliability Engineer and Maintenance Supervisor to optimize PM strategies, incorporates safety protocols and hazard analyses, and ensures timely close-out of work packages upon job completion. Requires strong mechanical/electrical systems knowledge, CMMS proficiency (SAP preferred), excellent organizational and communication skills, and compliance with industrial safety procedures. Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a DOE Q security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 3-5+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- Hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems
- CMMS Proficiency, preferably SAP
- Organizational skills and time-management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of industrial safety procedures, particularly Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance
