Preventive Maintenance Coordinator - Electrical Shop

Job Summary
Coordinate and implement preventive maintenance schedules for the Electronics Shop within a hospital setting, including planning and documenting commissioning and routine equipment inspections for electrical systems. Assist in managing service contractors, tendering, site orientation, and quality issues; develop procedures for operation and maintenance of building electrical systems; monitor and report on preventive maintenance program activities; requires at least five years of hospital-electrical experience, familiarity with electrical building systems (normal and emergency power, switchgear, distribution, uninterruptible power systems, life-support systems), and knowledge of relevant codes and CSA standards; must possess strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and customer-service skills; education includes high school completion and an Electrical Technology Diploma with registration eligibility for CTTAM or Journeyman license.
Required Qualifications
- Complete high school education (Manitoba standards)
- Electrical Technology Diploma and eligible for registration with the Certified Technicians and Technologists Association of Manitoba (CTTAM) or a Manitoba Journeyman Electrician license required.
- Experience: at least five years in hospital electrical systems, commissioning, preventive maintenance planning, and service planning; knowledge of CSA standards and codes
