Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and complete logs for technical facilities across Boardwalk's residential units. Perform minor repairs on plumbing, piping, and structural elements, including water backflow tests, while sorting and tracking daily service calls. Train maintenance associates on repairs within their scope and ensure contractors adhere to scheduled work terms. Maintain communication with the EP coordinator to provide project updates and identify recurring issues. Participate in weekly meetings with the maintenance coordinator and assist project managers with troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in general maintenance
- Excellent knowledge of tools, parts, general building maintenance, and building operations
- Excellent knowledge of Boardwalk applications, including BOSS and BMPS
- Ability to communicate effectively in French
- Ownership of a vehicle and a clean driving record
- Ability to travel
- Ability to participate in additional structured training
- Offers of employment will be contingent on satisfactory Security Background Checks, Reference Checks, and Pre-employment Physical Testing where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- 5th Class Power Engineering certification for industrial boilers- a plus
- Familiarity with tablets is a plus
- English is a plus
