Job Summary
Preventive Maintenance Assistant Manager in a food-manufacturing environment. Lead maintenance team to drive asset reliability and reduce downtime by directing PM/AM initiatives, conducting Root Cause Analysis, and implementing corrective actions to improve MTBF and reduce MTTR. Collaborate with Reliability Engineer on CBM/TBM programs; manage lubrication program; develop equipment centerlines; prioritize abnormalities with safety and quality first. Directly manage, mentor, and coach maintenance staff, act as liaison for union-related issues, lead daily maintenance meetings, and assist in recruitment. Develop a skill matrix, oversee GMP compliance, and manage maintenance budgeting and CMMS scheduling (SAP CMMS) with Kronos. Plan detailed shutdowns, coordinate weekly/weekend shifts, and optimize inventory. Schedule: Full-time, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with overtime/on-call as needed; benefits package included. Location: Portland, OR. Requires 3+ years as Maintenance Lead/Supervisor in manufacturing and 2+ years supervisory experience; food manufacturing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is desirable; Associate’s degree or relevant non-degree technical training will be considered
