Job Summary
Implement ORR Policy Section 4, 5, and the Interim Final Rule (IFR) regarding prevention, detection, and response to sexual abuse and harassment. Establish a respectful workplace, oversee child-friendly PSA orientations, and manage grievance reviews and Significant Incident Reports (SIRs). Liaise with ORR's PCAN Team, HR, and program leadership to ensure compliance with background checks, reporting guidelines, and third-party privacy standards. Lead staff training, conduct incident review team meetings, and prepare documentation for ORR audits and monitoring visits. Compile data for PCAN stakeholders, maintain PSA bulletin boards, and initiate referrals to legal services and trafficking experts. Work flexible non-traditional hours, including on-call nights and weekends, with some travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields
- At least one year of experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, or quality assurance or compliance
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers, as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
- Bilingual (English Spanish)
- Fluency in Spanish
- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/300,000 bodily liability coverage
- 21 years of age
- Valid state driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Good driving record
- Some travel
