Job Summary
Conduct quarterly information briefings on State and National level Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention. Input SAP and SP training data into the Drug and Alcohol Management Information System (DAMIS) and ALURRT within 48 hours of receipt, and electronically report all scheduled training within 48 hours of completion. Input assessment, referral, and treatment data for Service Members into DAMIS within 24 hours of appointment, updating records per treatment plans. Coordinate and conduct annual and targeted SAP and SP training for Service members, families, and ARNG units in compliance with AR 600-85 and AR 350-53. Work a variable schedule including weekends during state unit training.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated instructing and briefing skills, with the ability to adapt to various audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and metric development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- minimum of four years of practical experience in Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention, or Resilience, and program and case management
- 10 years of practical experience
- Experience in instructing and briefing skills, which demonstrate flexibility with various audiences.
- Ability to work a variable schedule as duties require, including many weekends when state units are conducting training
- Ability to pass a background check
- eligible to obtain a Contractor Common Access Card (CAC)
Desired Qualifications
- managerial and/or supervisory experience
- Experience in substance abuse and suicide prevention programs
- Previous experience working with the National Guard or similar organizations
- Advanced certifications or training in related fields
