Job Summary
Preventive maintenance of gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam-powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment. Complete required paperwork for every job (parts order, work order, timesheet) promptly. Communicate professionally with customers regarding required repairs and status. Use proper tools for repair, including hand and power tools. Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on the vehicle. Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms. This role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical work, independence, and relevant state certifications/licensing if refrigeration is involved. Expect flexible hours with possible overnight/weekend shifts and extensive travel; physical duties include repetitive lifting and exposure to hot environments. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screening
- Valid Driver's License and driving record that aligns with safety standards
- Hands-on electrical and mechanical experience
- Ability to work independently
- If refrigeration is involved, hands-on work experience and necessary certifications or licensing as required by state
- High level of accuracy
- Strong attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs frequently, and more than 100 lbs with assistance
- Extensive daily travel to job sites; potential for weekend and night assignments
