Job Summary
Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform inspections and repairs on heavy equipment, complete routine service work (changing fluids, replacing filters, lubricating components, minor parts replacement), operate vehicles and equipment safely in shop or field, maintain inventory of the lube truck and service materials, and promote preventative maintenance services while building positive customer relationships. Strong mechanical/technical skills, familiarity with documentation/reporting, and ability to work in Salt Lake City, with a focus on safety and teamwork in a heavy construction machinery environment. Hardware/brand experience (e.g., John Deere, Wirtgen, Topcon) and a willingness to contribute to a safety-conscious, growing team are valued. Benefits and a path for career growth are offered.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude
- Diesel or mechanical experience preferred
- Basic tools to perform preventative maintenance
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Comfort using computers and technology for documentation and reporting
