Preventative Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Preventive maintenance of gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment. Complete required paperwork for every job (parts order, work order, timesheet) on a timely basis. Communicate professionally with customer regarding required repairs and status. Use proper tools for repair, including hand tools and power tools. Monitor truck stock to insure required parts are stocked on vehicle. Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms. Regularly travel to customer sites with possible overnight/weekend assignments and lift heavy loads as needed. Must be at least 18, pass background/drug screening, and possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Work may involve exposure to hot grease and high-temperature environments; requires physical capability to lift up to 100 lbs frequently and more than 100 lbs occasionally. Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age minimum
- Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screening
- Valid Driver's License
- Driving record that aligns with safety standards
- High level of accuracy
- Strong attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Hands-on electrical and mechanical experience
- If refrigeration is involved, hands-on work experience and required licensing/certifications as required by state
