Preventative Maintenance Technician

Conduct area inspections of the plant to conform to a predictive maintenance mindset, checking equipment integrity and ensuring all required tests are completed before production turnover. Perform preventative maintenance repairs on cement plant equipment including roller presses, crushers, ball mills, pumps, compressors, and screening systems. Troubleshoot broken equipment causes, execute job hazard analyses, and set up machinery for contractors. Maintain records, produce written reports, and follow inspection schedules while analyzing procedures to improve operational methods. Work in a plant environment with extreme heat, cold, noise, and vibrations, handling heavy lifting and confined spaces.
