Job Summary
Oversee preventative maintenance shop operations for CSU facilities, providing strategic leadership for a 12-person unit and coordinating long-term business plans, budget accountability, and annual performance reviews. Responsible for routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural components; manage maintenance backlogs using database tools; prioritize workloads including planned maintenance, emergency repairs, and revenue-generating construction projects; ensure high technical integrity of university systems through vibration, thermographic, and ultrasonic analysis; act as primary contact for building Proctors and communicate outages to minimize campus disruption.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the HVAC maintenance, service and repair industry OR Education and Experience: combination of related education, apprenticeship program, and/or progressively responsible experience equal to four (4) years.
