Job Summary
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on diesel-powered equipment and perform preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled service work. Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, steering components, suspension systems, driveline assemblies, air brake systems, and lighting/electrical faults. Complete tire service, general mechanical repairs, and welding/fabrication work as needed. Service HVAC and air conditioning systems on fleet equipment while maintaining accurate repair documentation. Candidates must provide their own standard hand tools, though specialty and shop equipment are supplied by the company. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel, heavy equipment, trailer, or fleet maintenance
- Ability to safely use diagnostic and repair equipment
- Candidates must provide their own standard hand tools
- Working knowledge of Hydraulics
- Working knowledge of Air brake systems
- Working knowledge of Electrical diagnostics
- Working knowledge of Diesel engines
- Working knowledge of Suspension and steering systems
- Working knowledge of Preventative maintenance procedures
- Working knowledge of Welding and fabrication
