Preventative Maintenance

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces as required, including inspecting and repairing hardware and appliances, flipping/inspecting mattresses and bed frames, vacuuming behind and underneath furniture, spot cleaning carpets and upholstery, dusting, touch-up painting and furniture, ensuring all necessary hardware and appliances are present and in working order, replacing light fixtures, inspecting and repairing grout and caulking, and performing general cleaning of all guestroom surfaces. Report serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards to the manager. Follow safety policies and procedures, maintain professional appearance, protect proprietary information, and support team goals. Move and lift objects up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform other reasonable duties. Education preferred: High school diploma or GED; related experience <1 year.
