Job Summary
Conduct room inspections, perform checkout procedures, and execute preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Install or repair sheetrock, paint designated areas, and replace basic electrical fixtures, light switches, and receptacles. Troubleshoot kitchen equipment, repair furniture, and program televisions while maintaining repair records and complying with local, state, and federal codes. Notify the General Manager of major repairs and ensure overall guest satisfaction through adherence to service recovery guidelines and safe work practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance engineer or in a similar role
- Skilled in a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
