Job Summary
Conduct room inspections, perform checkout procedures, and execute preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Install or repair wall coverings, paint areas, replace fixtures, and troubleshoot kitchen equipment while maintaining repair records. Trace water lines, replace heating and cooling pumps, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes. Notify the General Manager of major repairs and follow service recovery guidelines to maintain guest satisfaction. Full-time 40-hour position at the new StudioRes Marriott Piscataway opening October 1st.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance engineer or in a similar role
- Skilled in a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
