Job Summary
Conduct room inspections, perform checkout procedures, and execute preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Install wall coverings, paint areas, repair furniture, and troubleshoot kitchen equipment while maintaining repair records. Trace water lines, replace fixtures, and program televisions to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes. Notify the General Manager of major repairs and follow Service Recovery Guidelines to improve guest satisfaction scores. Adhere to safety standards and wear protective equipment throughout all tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance engineer or in a similar role
- Skilled in a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
