Job Summary
Conduct scheduled cleaning of public garbage disposal receptacles, sidewalks, and designated job sites using pressure washing equipment to remove dirt, grime, oil, grease, and stains. Operate the cleaning truck by loading and securing equipment, filling tanks with water, chemicals, and fuel, while performing maintenance inspections and repairs on assigned vehicles. Safely dispose of wastewater and ensure proper barricading of drains to maintain full compliance with EPA regulations. Communicate regularly with the supervisor regarding arrival times, progress updates, and completion status. Actively participate in monthly training sessions covering safety, cleaning procedures, quality standards, and organizational policies. Work evenings and weekends as required, meeting physical demands including lifting up to 25 lbs. and working in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Clean DMV driving record
- Willingness to learn safe operation of program vehicles and pressure washing equipment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use maps or navigation apps
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 25 lbs., standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, and loading/unloading equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required
- Ability to work in all weather conditions including extreme hot or cold, wet or dry and other weather elements
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, goggles, coveralls, masks, and hearing protection
- Basic verbal communication and reading comprehension skills
