Job Summary
Design and detail engineering of Pressure Vessels and Storage Tanks, including internals, with production of Design Calculation analysis and reports. Generate assembly and detail drawings based on Design Calculations while coordinating with inter-disciplines, other departments, and external agencies. Review Contractors' mechanical design calculations, Fabrication drawings, and RFIs for Pressure vessels in accordance with Design Code, Client datasheet, and Specifications. Apply and interpret Pressure Vessel Design Codes such as ASME Sec. VIII and related ASME/ANSI Codes, utilizing software like PVElite, Compress a plus, AutoCAD, and CADWorx or Plant 3D.
Required Qualifications
- Well versed in the application and interpretation of Pressure Vessel Design Codes such as ASME Sec. VIII and its related ASME/ANSI Codes, and other International Codes
- Pressure Vessel Design software such as, PVElite
- Pressure Vessel Design software such as, Compress
- Ability to design and draft Pressure Vessels using AutoCAD
- Ability to design and draft Pressure Vessels using 3D exp
- CADWorx
- Plant 3D
