Pressure Equipment Integrity Inspector

Job Summary
Execute pressure equipment integrity inspections for piping, static equipment, vessels, and tanks per ITPs and approved codes. Witness NDT, PWHT, and pressure/leak tests while validating documentation and managing hold points, punch lists, and NCRs. Perform field surveillance of contractors to confirm workmanship and compliance, then verify deliverables including MDRs, test packs, and turnover dossiers. Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and operations teams during walkdowns and commissioning readiness while enforcing HSSE protocols and stop-work authority. Ensure all inspection findings are accurate, timely, and audit-ready for safe project turnover.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen or Permanent US Resident
- Technical foundation in mechanical/piping/inspection (degree, diploma, or trade background with relevant experience)
- Working knowledge of PEI practices and common codes/standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS; local regulatory requirements)
- Familiarity with welding, NDT methods, pressure testing, material certification/traceability and test pack management
- Competence in PTW/LOTO and construction HSSE requirements
- Strong field presence: attention to detail, assertive but collaborative communication, and sound judgment
- Strong documentation skills and comfort with digital tools (inspection reports, Excel/SharePoint, CMMS/turnover systems)
