Job Summary
Conduct field-based inspections ensuring quality, safety, and code compliance of pressure equipment during fabrication, erection, and repair. Review and accept job packages, perform in-process inspections, and monitor contractor quality-control systems. Witness hydrostatic tests, review required documentation, and communicate professionally with clients and contractors. Earn a Colorado State Certificate of Competency and National Board "A" Endorsement through provided training. Starting salary is $70,000–$80,000 with full benefits, paid time off, and a company vehicle. This role supports customers across industrial, energy, and manufacturing sectors, offering career progression into supervisor or engineering positions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with high‐pressure boilers
- Experience operating, maintaining, or inspecting boilers or pressure vessels
- Working knowledge of ASME and NBIC Codes
- Strong communication skills
- Professional integrity
Desired Qualifications
- Navy Nuclear (MMN, EMN, ETN)
- Welders with NDT/NDI experience (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT exposure)
- Industrial maintenance or utilities technicians
- Boiler operators or stationary engineers
- QA/QC technicians in fabrication or heavy industry
- Experience with pressure vessels, steam systems, or industrial mechanical equipment
- Risk survey or inspection experience
- National Board Commission (if already held)
