Job Summary
Conduct field-based inspections ensuring quality, safety, and code compliance of pressure equipment during fabrication, erection, and repair. Review and accept job packages, perform in-process inspections, monitor contractor quality-control systems, witness hydrostatic tests, and review required documentation. Communicate professionally with clients and contractors to support the earliest stages of the equipment lifecycle across industrial, energy, and manufacturing sectors. This full-time role includes a company vehicle and training to earn a Colorado State Certificate of Competency and National Board "A" Endorsement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with high‐pressure boilers
- Experience operating, maintaining, or inspecting boilers or pressure vessels
- Working knowledge of ASME and NBIC Codes
- Strong communication skills and professional integrity
Desired Qualifications
- Navy Nuclear (MMN, EMN, ETN)
- Welders with NDT/NDI experience (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT exposure)
- Industrial maintenance or utilities technicians
- Boiler operators or stationary engineers
- QA/QC technicians in fabrication or heavy industry
- Experience with pressure vessels, steam systems, or industrial mechanical equipment
- Risk survey or inspection experience
- National Board Commission (if already held)
