Job Summary
Conduct field-based inspections to ensure quality, safety, and code compliance of pressure equipment during fabrication, erection, and repair. Review and accept job packages, perform in-process inspections, monitor contractor quality-control systems, and witness hydrostatic tests. Review and sign required documentation while communicating professionally with clients and contractors. This full-time, permanent role offers a $70,000–$80,000 salary, full benefits, paid time off, and a company vehicle. Training is provided to earn the State Certificate of Competency and National Board "A" Endorsement. The position supports customers across industrial, energy, and manufacturing sectors, with career progression into supervisor or engineering roles available.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with high‐pressure boilers
- Experience operating, maintaining, or inspecting boilers or pressure vessels
- Working knowledge of ASME and NBIC Codes
- Strong communication skills and professional integrity
Desired Qualifications
- Navy Nuclear (MMN, EMN, ETN)
- Welders with NDT/NDI experience (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT exposure)
- Industrial maintenance or utilities technicians
- Boiler operators or stationary engineers
- QA/QC technicians in fabrication or heavy industry
- Experience with pressure vessels, steam systems, or industrial mechanical equipment
- Risk survey or inspection experience
- National Board Commission (if already held)
