Job Summary
Operate sheet-fed offset presses (KBA) to print envelopes and paper products, set up and adjust presses, monitor and maintain print quality, perform routine press maintenance and minor repairs, and coordinate with Machine Operators to ensure efficient production. Review job documentation, execute color/register adjustments, follow pressroom procedures, minimize waste, and assist the pressroom team as needed. Strong experience with KBA presses and a solid mechanical aptitude are required to meet production goals and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Printing Press Operator with extensive KBA press experience (5/6 color, UV ink, foil printing, embossing)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience as a Machine Operator in a production environment
- Ability to perform routine press maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
- Prior experience in sheetfed, litho, flexo, roll tender, or jet printing environments is preferred
